What do you need from your child’s Edinburgh Easter holiday club?
when we asked this question we got a lot of different responses, kids wanted to offer the activities they wanted (no soft play for P7’s) and adults wanted earlier opening times. We accommodated both requests with some excellent activities and opening as early as we could.
We have some great activities planned for our Easter Holiday Camp. Not only do we have the incredibly fun Easter usuals, egg hunt’s, arts and crafts etc we also have some great excursions and activities.
Wheels skills track – Bring a bike, scooter, skates or your chosen wheels to us. Some of the kids will design a skills track, some will set it up and everyone will ride. Start off at the school and check the tyres, brakes and gears, walking the bikes down to the park and set up a track then off we ride.
Forest Activities – In the Balerno section of the Pentland hills there is a space that is perfect for kids to descend upon. The Pentland rangers have kindly allowed us to reserve this space and provided us with some equipment for the activities. We will take the bus to the area then begin the fun with games like “capture the flag” and “bunker 52” alongside den building and orienteering ensures you child will return home with great memories.
Roald Dahl Picnic – On a nice weather day we will spend some time at the park but before we go we will need to make a picnic. Will it be a revolting recipe , Dr Seuss’ green eggs and ham or something from your favorite book.
Science Festival – A day out at the science festival with fun interactive experiments. http://www.sciencefestival.co.uk/
Broken bodies at the Queen Margaret Uni – Be a doctor and have an interactive day at the teaching hospital at the QMU.
This is just some of things we have going on, come and join us to have an amazing time.
